Belmont Packaging is Delighted to Announce a Move to a Four Day Working Week

We have always strived to be progressive when it comes to customer service, quality, capability, technology, and new ways of working. Without the hard work, commitment, and dedication of our employees our business wouldn’t be the success it is today.

That’s why we want to recognise our employees as our biggest asset and lead the way in employee health and wellbeing within the packaging industry. Therefore, we are delighted to announce from the 20th September we will operate under a four-day working week.

This change in how we work is intended to give our employees a better work/life balance while allowing us to continue to give our customers the first-class service they deserve.

Four-day working weeks will give Belmont Packaging employees time to focus on personal development or spend time with loved ones. Which as a result can increase employees’ happiness and contribute to fewer burnouts at work, leaving them to be more focused and happier in their role.

We want all our employees to return to work ready to take on the new day, ready to take on a new challenge, and ready to make a difference in the packaging world.

The decision to take on a four-day working week came from a successful trial period within manufacturing, which led us to decide to extend this across the business from Monday 20th September.

Please note that deliveries will only be accepted until 4.30 pm unless agreed beforehand.

Belmont Packaging will continue to offer customer deliveries despatched Thursday to arrive Friday or Monday as required. We hope you will join us in supporting the new, progressive working week.
