Investment in New Machinery at Belmont

This year we are investing in new machinery and exploring modifications we can make to existing machinery that will allow us to offer even greater capabilities to our customers.

So far we have made two exciting investments;

• A new hot melt glue system
• A fully automated in-line strapping machine

Hot melt glue system

We have added to our existing folder gluing machine by incorporating a new hot melt glue system from Valco Melton.
Velcon Melton are world leaders in developing high speed gluing systems and providing quality assurance in manufacturing packaging.
The Evolution C Series technology is the newest technology for hot melt adhesive melters. It is regarded best in class in its performance, offering optimum reliability, control and ability to adapt to any work requirement to its user.

Fully automated in-line strapping machine

As we ship out our boxes flat packed in bundles, we decided to further enhance our bundling process by investing in the MOSCA MCB-2 fully automated in-line strapping machine. This has replaced our very loyal MCB-1 machine which served us well for many years.
This latest machine has some great features such as;

• Automated set up systems
• Integrated squaring device for uniform bundles
• Off centre bundling for complex strapping requirements
• Automatic coil change with abilities to refill empty coil while machine operational

The MOSCA MCB-2 compliments our efficient environment perfectly!
